Here are the top three stories today in Cedar Park-Leander:

  1. Work is set to start on the Glenwood Apartments and could be complete by mid-2023. The site is located on Bagdad Road, across the street from Leander High School and adjacent to Bahama Buck’s and Dollar General. It will be an 84-unit apartment complex, three stories tall, and about 95,000 square feet. The complex will have one- and two-bedroom apartments, 126 parking spaces, a leasing office, an internet cafe, and a sitting area. (The Real Deal)
  2. Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity for All Leander (IDEAL) and community partners are hosting Leander's first-ever Pride event today. The "A Rainbow to Remember" event is from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Wilco WorkSpaces + Events, located at 1615 Scottsdale Drive. There will be vendors, an art show, speakers, food trucks, a silent auction, music, a drag makeup tutorial, and a drag show. (KVUE)

  • Moonie's Burger House is moving! Tomorrow, May 15, is the last day at the Cedar Park location. Luckily, Moonie's will open its new location on May 19, in Leander, 109 N HWY 183. (Twitter)
