Debris On Leander Roadway Causes Crash, Traffic Stoppage

Crash at U.S. 183 North at Larkspur has prompted traffic re-routing as crews work to clean up the spill that occurred around noon.

LEANDER, TX — A vehicle collision in Leander has prompted police to reroute traffic, sparking traffic delays.

The crash happened on U.S. 183 North at Larkspur, according to a tU.S. 183 North at Larkspurweet from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office posted shortly after the noon hour. Northbound traffic is stopped as a result of debris on the roadway, the sheriff's office reported, with traffic being diverted onto Lakrspur.

It's unclear if the driver who crashed trying to avoid the debris was injured. The nature of the debris also was not detailed.
