About Chick-fil-A-Leander Operator Priscilla Mendoza (company-provided bio):

Mendoza worked at Chick-fil-A as a Team Member during high school and college along with her two sisters, with all three earning a Chick-fil-a Leadership Scholarship. After graduating from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she grew up, Mendoza worked as a legal assistant for five years. However, the adoption of her husband’s nephew, whose parents both passed away from cancer a month before her marriage to Phillip, caused Mendoza to want to better meet his needs as a brand-new mother of a 12-year-old. She returned to Chick-fil-A to work as a general manager and quickly realized that she wanted to become an Operator. Five years later, she was awarded Cedar Park’s Lakeline Mall location. In 2008, she transferred to open the new stand-alone in Cedar Park, where she lived for 16 years.

Mendoza is supported by a 12-member Top Director leadership team, who has more than seven decades of experience working for her and includes two brothers-in-law that have been with her from the beginning. Also involved in the business is her husband, mother-in-law and two of her sons. Mendoza is very active in the community and the Leander and Cedar Park Chambers, as well as working with students in the area of leadership at four local high schools. Passionate about mentoring others, in the past three years alone, Mendoza has awarded $30,000 in scholarships to her Team Members which have now grown to 180 between her two restaurants.
