El Buen Samaritano Seeks Food Donations To Help Area Residents
The Austin-area organization helps community members in times of crisis, and is in need of food donations to supplement its food pantry.

CEDAR PARK, TX — In an effort to continue assistant Austin-area neighbors facing food insecurity amid the COVID-19 pandemic, El Buen Samaritano is accepting food donations to supplement its food pantry. El Buen Samaritano is at the forefront of responding to the many social-environmental factors leading to lack of access to health care, social services, education, and nutrition. The current public health crisis has created an urgency for additional support to meet the growing needs of the community.
Donations are accepted Mondays from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., and volunteers are asked to bring their food donations to the parking lot in front of the church, where a food pantry staff member will come out to meet you and accept your donation. Those unable to drop off donations at the designated drop of time may also schedule an appointment with Amanda Doenges, Associate Director of Health Literacy, at adoenges@elbuen.org.
