Enjoy Stunning Scenic Fall Views Aboard Bertram Flyer
The Teddy Bear Train at Cedar Park offers families a chance to enjoy a train ride with proceeds benefitting the Center for Child Protection.
CEDAR PARK, TX—Enjoy the sights of the season and celebrate Fall with your invitation to the Teddy Bear Train at Cedar Park Depot. The 2021 event will benefit the Center for Child Protection, and kids 13 and under ride free with the donation of a new teddy bear or stuffed animal.
Happening Sunday, Oct. 10 at 2 p.m. at Cedar Park Depot located at 401 E. Whitestone, C-100, Cedar Park, TX, guests can sit back for a relaxing journey into passenger railroad's glorious past onboard this special Bertram Flyer! You'll enjoy a 44 mile journey spanning the South San Gabriel River and stopping for a 15-minute layover at the historic 1912 Bertram Depot.
Take in amazing views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast-one of the tallest structures in the world! Guests are encouraged to wear costumes and bring their teddy bears on this special ride, and complimentary lemonade will be offered in the Cedar Park concession car.
