Fall Weekly Yard Trimmings Recycling Held Over Two-Week Period
The City of Cedar Park invites residents to take advantage of the service enhancement program involving yard trimmings recycling
CEDAR PARK, TX —Cedar Park residents may take advantage of the Yard Trimming Recycling program for the fall cycle over a two-week period as a service enhancement for the community. Yard Trimmings Recycling will be offered Monday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct. 30.
Guidelines for the program include tree and shrub trimmings not exceeding four feet in length and no more than four inches in diameter each, and a weight not exceeding fifty pounds when placed in bundles. Leaves and grass clippings put out must be placed in brown paper yard waste bags and not in plastic bags. Wet bags will not be picked up due to weight and risk of breakage.
Residents may place yard trimmings in addition to bulk items limit of seven (7) items outside your trash cart, and residents are advised that after Oct. 30, yard trimmings will be picked up but will count towards your bulk items limit and will not be recycled. For more information, click HERE.
