Families Enjoy Making Memories On Annual North Pole Flyer

CEDAR PARK, TX — The holidays are about making memories, and the North Pole Flyer is an opportunity for families to enjoy a one-of-a-kind memory-making experience beginning Saturday, Nov. 16 departing from the historic Bertram Depot. The Austin Steam Train Association delights in offering a special 2 hour excursion on an authentic train complete with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The holiday train ride features all-you-can-drink hot cocoa and a locally baked holiday cookie, with cars decked out for the season. Passengers will enjoy a live reading of the North Pole Flyer book - the Austin Steam Train Association's very own Christmas Story. Santa will visit with passengers in each car and pose for photos and hand out special gifts for each child to remember their Christmas train ride.

Passengers may be seated at shared tables, or in shared seating sections with other passengers. Private comportments are also available for purchase but passengers in compartments will need to step out to the general lounge area to enjoy many of the featured activities. The ride is 2 hours roundtrip without a layover. Passengers are encouraged to arrive 30-45 minutes ahead of departure time to have time to find parking, board, and be seated.
