- Cedar Park High School has been ranked number three in Leander Independent School District High Schools and number 24 in Austin Metro Area High Schools. CPHS has a 100 percent graduation rate and an overall score of 85.78 out of 100. (US News)
- On Feb. 10, Cedar Park City Council approved a resolution to include a $158.8 bond package in the upcoming May election. The bond includes three propositions, $86.6 million for transportation projects, $42.2 million for parks and recreation projects, and $30 million for a public safety project. Voters will approve funds for project types, such as transportation, instead of specific projects. (Community Impact)
- Yesterday, Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center broke ground on a 15,000-square-foot expansion in Georgetown, thanks to a generous grant from Toyota of Cedar Park. The local car dealership wrote a check for $720,000 to the Advocacy Center for renovations to the existing building and the addition of space for crisis services, forensic interviews, and family advocacy, as well as a multi-disciplinary hub and an outdoor play area. Members of the County Commissioners Court, Williamson County Sheriff Gleason, and other county leaders attended the groundbreaking. (CBS Austin)
