Giant, Green Iguana Found in Cedar Park

The Cedar Park Police Department found the iguana in a tree.

Cedar Park Police found a large iguana in a tree and are looking for its owner.

Animal Control Officer Ian White [pictured above] found the iguana in the Carriage Hill subdivision on Tuesday.

“If this iguana were tall enough to drive a patrol car and could hold a radar gun, we’d give him a badge and put him to work,” a spokeswoman for the Cedar Park Police told Patch.

In the meantime, Cedar Park Police said an “iguana enthusiast who has raised several of them and has the expertise to give our lizard friend a good home.”
