- According to a meteorologist, this summer Central Texas could experience drought conditions similar to the historic drought of 2011. Leander and Cedar Park will have 100 degree days all this week. The U.S. Drought Monitor reported that currently 42.47 percent of Texas is experiencing extreme or exceptional drought conditions. (KDH News)
