A Hocus Pocus Picnic Lets Families Create New Traditions

The family friendly event will feature a screening of the family favorite, Hocus Pocus, and will feature, costume contests, giveaways, more.

CEDAR PARK, TX —Looking for an opportunity to get the family into the spirit of Halloween? Then you won't want to miss A Hocus Pocus Picnic, a free event designed to delight all ages. Enjoy a picnic in the park with a screening of Hocus Pocus, and create new Halloween traditions with the safe and socially distanced event in the park alongside friends and neighbors.

The screening takes place Friday, Oct. 16 kicks off at 5 p.m. and guests are encouraged to arrive dressed in their spookiest and most creative costumes. The event takes place at Onion Creek Metropolitan Park located at 8652 Nuckols Crossing Rd., Austin, TX 78744.

This is a family friendly event, so attendees are asked to please refrain from scary masks and costumes. The fun includes a DJ, games, and a costume contest from 6 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. and plenty of prizes and giveaways. The screening begins promptly at 6:45 p.m. and seating layout will be as follows:
