Hot Chicken Joint Tumble 22 Plan Cedar Park Site
Company officials applied for a mixed beverage permit with regulators for 4501 183A Toll Road, but it's unclear when they might open.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Things are getting hot in Cedar Park, at least as far as restaurants are concerned: Nashville hot chicken providers Tumble 22 has applied to open a site locally.
CultureMap delved into Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission permits to learn officials of the eatery have applied for a mixed beverage permit for a location at 4501 183A Toll Road. But it's unclear when the new site is slated to be opened, according to the site.
This is how Tumble 22 describes its namesake offering on its website: "The chicken is fried and coated in Chef Marmulstein’s own secret blend of spices, getting its heat from the cayenne and spice dip. The basic components of the dish are chicken, a combination of spices, and careful cooking in hot oil. MSG is not used in the preparation of any of Tumble 22 chicken or products."

Sounds tasty. The chain already operates a location in Austin at 7211 Burnet Rd.
It's the second restaurant reveal for Cedar Park, which is gaining steam with new industry entrants. This week, officials ofEast Side King— offering culinary fare described as local Japanese street food with a touch of Austin soul — announced plans to open a site at 4701 183A Toll Rd. Ste. C. The opening is schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
