Hue Society Hosts Virtual Juneteenth Celebration
The virtual gathering invites participants to support favorite black wine brands and shops and will include conversations, giveaways, more.
CEDAR PARK, TX — The Hue Society will host an online Juneteenth celebration, a nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States dating back to 1865. Hue Society focuses on advancing commerce, building community, and curating wine-relevant experiences that honor and celebrate African American heritage and history and bridge the intersection of wine and culture.
The virtual community gathering will take place Friday, June 19 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. and participants are asked to support favorite black wine brands or shops. There will be story-telling, live giveaways and wine tasting from the comfort of home, not to mention a chance to amplify black voices within the wine community.
