Improving Care through an Integrated Care Model, A Keynote Address for Directions in Pharmacy CE conference

With its 7 accredited live sessions, Pharmacy Times Continuing Education’s (PTCE) 6th annual Directions in Pharmacy CE conference was once again a resounding success. Over 200 participants signed up and joined together in Plainsboro, New Jersey for the event, which had sessions on topics ranging from atrial fibrillation to opioid-induced constipation to heart failure. It also included sessions on chronic disease states such as diabetes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and acute coronary syndrome.

After such positive feedback on the program and its continuous success in New Jersey, PTCE will be taking this 7-session program to Dallas, Texas on May 21, 2016 at the Dallas Marriott City Center. This program, which offers all attendees up to 7 live credits, will feature special keynote speaker Tony Willoughby, PharmD, who is the president at Thrive Pharmacy Solutions. The presentation is entitled “Improving Care through an Integrated Care Model,” and will review the integrated care model, as well as opportunities to impact care, and patient and physician responses. Other topics of interest that will be covered for Dallas’ first Directions in Pharmacy will include transitions of care and best practice strategies.
