  1. Austin-based Fuse Workspace is planning a spot in Cedar Park. The company is seeking city incentives to open its $14 million co-working space. If Fuse Workspace can reach its goals, an economic development agreement may include almost $1 million from the City of Cedar Park. To learn more, visit Austin Business Journal.
  2. A bank jugging suspect was shot in the mouth after a jugging incident in the Lago Vista area. It all started when the victim withdrew money from a bank in Cedar Park and then drove to a gas station in Lago Vista. The suspect broke the victim's car window and took the cash. The victim then followed the suspects to stop them, and thought the suspect and passenger had a gun, so fired a shot at one of the suspects. For more details, visit CBS Austin.
  3. Leander ISD continues to have a conversation with the community regarding the use of educational facilities. Some discussions on eventually closing some neighborhood schools and re-purposing them as other school district facilities included strong opposition. When the May 6 bond election takes place, if certain proposals are approved, the closing of some schools may actually happen. For more details, visit Leander ISD.
