According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), from 2020 to 2030, employment in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) occupations will increase by 10.5 percent, while non-STEM jobs will only increase by 7.5 percent. BLS also reported that those employed in STEM jobs get paid more, with a median annual wage of $95,420, compared to $40,120 for non-STEM occupations. The Austin Chamber partnered with local school districts, including Leander ISD, to create the Chamber’s Talent Ambassador program. 3. Analysts forecast that Hyliion Holdings Corp., headquartered in Cedar Park, will post earnings at $0.19 per share for the current quarter. This would be a negative year-over-year growth rate of 46.2 percent because in the same quarter last year Hyliion reported earnings per share of $0.13. (Defense World)
