🌱 Local Home Sales Decreased From Apr. 2021 + New Local Construction

Here are the top three stories in Cedar Park-Leander today:

1. According to the Austin Board of Realtors’ (ABoR) monthly Central Texas Housing Market Report, both Cedar Park and Leander have seen a decrease in April residential home sales and new listings compared to April 2021. In Cedar Park, there was a 30.7 percent decrease of sales in April 2022 compared to April 2021. In Leander there was a 29.3 percent decrease in sales in April 2022 compared to April 2021. ABoR President Cord Shiflet said the fluctuations in the greater Austin housing market are typical, and "the ups and downs we are seeing in our market are normal and somewhat expected considering the fast pace at which our market has moved over the past two years." 2. There have been ten commercial permits filed in Cedar Park and Leander recently. Some renovations include King Noodle and Waxing the City. There are many new constructions as well, including Abby Evans Salon, Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar, Hallmark Condominiums, Maple Ranch, Northline Town Square, and many more.
