🌱 Local Issues In The May Election + Tax Office Lobbies Closed Today

1. The May 7 election is filled with many local issues as well as amendments to the state constitution. Leander residents face a big public transit decision and Cedar Park has mayoral elections. Leander residents will vote on whether the City should cut ties with the Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (CapMetro). 2. Due to a staffing shortage, all Williamson County Tax Office lobbies will be closed to the public today. The Cedar Park and Round Rock drive-thrus will remain open. Office lobbies will reopen at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, Apr. 21, 2022. (Hello Georgetown)
