2. Michael Gaffney, who lives in Cedar Park, has been named coach of the "world's premier bull riding organization," the Austin Gamblers of the Professional Bull Riders. Gaffney was the world champion bull rider in 1997, and now at 52, he will teach others his skills. The Gamblers won the team draft lottery and will have the first pick at the May 23 draft in Arlington. (Austin-American Statesman)
