  1. Last week, Raymond E. Robinson, an ex-pastor who lived in Leander, was sentenced to 42 months in prison and three years of supervised release. Robinson was one of three men involved in a loan scheme to defraud four churches. He was also ordered to pay a forfeiture of $17,750 and restitution of $3.2 million. (The Roys Report)
  2. On Friday, May 13, Cedar Park High School competed at the UIL State Track and Field meet at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Isabel Conde De Frankenberg, of Cedar Park, won the Class 5A girls 3,200 meters with 10 minutes, 34.13 seconds. (Lubbock Online)
