Motorcyclist Airlifted With Critical Injuries In Cedar Park Crash

The unidentified motorcyclist collided with a vehicle on FM 2769 and was taken to a Round Rock hospital with life-threatening injuries.

CEDAR PARK, TX — One person was critically injured and needed to be airlifted from an accident scene after a motorcyclist collided with another vehicle on Saturday.

The accident, which took place around 4 p.m., occurred on FM 2769 and Abbotsbury Drive, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS. First responders arrived at the scene to find the motorcyclist unconscious and the incident became a trauma alert, officials said.

Travis County STAR Flight initiated an emergency landing at the scene to airlift the motorcyclist from the scene. The identity of the operator of the motorcyclist has not been released. By 4:20 p.m., the victim was transported to St. David’s Hospital in Round Rock with life-threatening injuries.

As of Monday morning, the patient’s condition had not been updated by EMS officials. FM 2769 was closed for several hours in both directions on Saturday while the accident was investigated.
