CEDAR PARK, TX — NASEM Health and Medicine will host a free 90-minute webinar discussing critical issues for the future of nursing. Nursing’s Role in Health Equity, Public Health Emergencies, and COVID-19 with representatives from the NAM study on the direction of nursing through 2030 with updates provided on the study's status, including how public input can help direct nurses' roles in response to COVID-19.
The webinar scheduled Thursday, August 20 at 1 p.m. will feature a panel of experts and their insight on ways nursing can advance health equity, the role of nurses in public health emergencies, and nurses' experiences on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19.
