Here are the top three stories in Cedar Park-Leander today:

1. Wood Partners announced the official grand opening of Alta Leander Station – a new luxury residential development. Located at 348 Main Street, residents of the new community will be able to take advantage of the shopping, entertainment, dining, and nightlife options offered in the city. (Yahoo Finance)
2. The Leander ISD board of trustees discusses safety and security measures at their meeting that took place on Jun. 13. Possible safety measures include identification badges for all students as well as improvements to their mass alert system. The safety and security committee will continue the discussion at a meeting in July. (Community Impact Newspaper)
3. The Twin Lakes Family YMCA is offering a summer dance program for children. The six-week Summer II dance classes begin on July 12, offering Creative Movement, Intro to Ballet/Tap, Ballet I, Ballet II, Hip Hop I, and Hip Hop II (ages vary).
