Jason spent over two decades in the IT and Software Engineering industries, holding various significant roles. His last position was Sr. Director IT, Customer Engineering, and Operations at a global company. Before that, he worked with prominent companies such as Adobe and HP, among others. He brings a wealth of skills and expertise to his new venture.

Jason now serves the Cedar Park, TX area and extends his services North and Northwest along I-35. His journey from IT and Software Engineering to floor coverings demonstrates his adaptability and commitment to continuous learning.

Throughout his career, Jason has excelled in problem-solving and customer relations. He has managed numerous large projects, achieved notable success, and gained valuable insights into the importance of customer satisfaction and effective project management. His experience as a Product Manager has equipped him with the skills to identify key objectives and prioritize customer needs and wants.

In his last role as a Sr. Director, Jason encountered a challenging situation that led to his transition to a new career path. After hiring and onboarding a manager in India, he was laid off due to organizational restructuring that favored offshore jobs. This experience left him unmotivated to return to a similar role in the job market.

Seeking a fresh start, Jason explored franchise opportunities and aimed to stay local. He discovered Floor Coverings International (FCI) and was drawn to their alignment with his values and the opportunity to engage in a completely different field. The comprehensive support from FCI's team further convinced him to take the leap into entrepreneurship.

Jason W. Panke's story is one of resilience and reinvention. His extensive experience in technology and project management, combined with his dedication to customer service, positions him for success in his new endeavor with Floor Coverings International. “I’m excited to see all the homes that have been built in my area as there have been migrations from other states to Texas, and most specifically to the Austin area,” said Panke. “I’ve watched the economy get stronger and stabilize post COVID and with some of the great advancements in flooring such as stain repelling carpet to engineered hardwood flooring, there is really no place we can’t put in terrific, easy to maintain new flooring in any home or office.

I want to be the “go-to” flooring provider in my area and the professional who opened this new market for Floor Coverings International. I hope to employ at least 9-10 people in the next couple of years.”
