Online Classes Offered To Help Communities Cast Informed Votes
The non-partisan virtual event teaches individuals how to conduct independent research and access fact-based information ahead of elections.
CEDAR PARK, TX — As the 2020 election quickly approaches, the community is invited to take part in an online information session on how to make informed voting decision. Informed Voter will discuss the impact of local and state elections, in addition to the presidential vote. The free course will offer a 45-minute online class to show how voters can conduct their own research, cross-reference information, and better understand the impact of your vote.
Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m. the free classes will be offered weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays through Oct. 17. Attendees will gain knowledge on informed decision-making relating to voting; please note, the virtual event is not designed to be a partisan discussion, rather an opportunity to equip voters with the tools needed to cast an informed vote. Classes will be offered via Zoom, and event link will be sent out 4 hours ahead of scheduled meeting to all RSVP'd guests. For more information, including registration link click HERE.
