Online Workshop Offers Expert Insight On Anti-Racism Practices

Anti-racist educators and activists Briona Jenkins and Pamela Benson-Owens to host a virtual discussion on everyday anti-racism practices.

CEDAR PARK, TX — The community is invited to an informative and insightful discussion with anti-racist educators and activists Briona Jenkins and Pamela Benson-Owens about anti-racism practices in our personal and professional lives. The Zoom virtual event, Anti-Racism As An Everyday Practice: A Workshop & Discussion will feature a live Q&A with actions items, resources and next steps for implementing anti-racist practices.

The workshop and discussion will be held Saturday, August 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will include moderated discussion time centering on Black and non-white voices. All are welcome to the discussion, and audiences are invited to prepare for the event by reading the Personal and Professional Resources for Anti-Racism Work Guide.
