Pre-Registration Open For Pancakes and PJs Holiday Event

The Leander Public Library invites families to the popular Christmas celebration featuring a hot breakfast, crafts, and holiday cheer.

LEANDER, TX—It's never too early to get a jump on your holiday planning schedule, and the Leander Public Library invites families to a special Christmas event to celebrate the season and the community. Enjoy the holiday spirit and a hot breakfast for all family members, and an opportunity to show off your Christmas jammies, take part in Christmas crafts, and a visit from Santa!

The event scheduled Saturday, Dec. 12 beginning at 8 a.m. is a popular event and limited spots fill up quickly. Pre-registration is required and fees are $5 per child. There will be several sessions to choose from including:

Session 1 - 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Session 2 - 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

Session 3 - 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

This year's event invites families at the Library Annex to pick up ready-made plates of pancakes, sausage, yogurt/applesauce, and drinks, and will then move down the hallway to say hello to Santa and present their wish lists. Following the visits with Santa, families may step out to the Leander Library breezeway where there will be tables set up to enjoy breakfast and pick up craft packs.

To protect the health and safety of all attendees, staff and the community against the spread of COVID-19, masks are required to be worn by all those entering the facility and when seated in common seating areas.
