Recycle Your Tree Jan. 4 In Cedar Park, Get A Free Seedling

Don't have time to drop your tree off for recycling? No worries! Boy Scout Troop 233 will do it for you.

CEDAR PARK, TX - Now that Christmas is over, you may be wondering what to do with your live tree. Don't worry! You do have an option.

The City of Cedar Park is inviting residents to bring their holiday tree between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. to the recreation center parking lot for recycling. The center is located at 1435 Main St.

Mulch from the trees will be used for landscaping at city parks and facilities.

Before recycling, make sure you remove all decorations, ornaments and stands from the tree.

Don't have time to drop your tree off? No problem! You can have Boy Scout Troop 233 pick up your tree and bring it to the recycling center for you. Go to www.troop233leander.org for details and to schedule your pick up.
