Here are the top three stories today in Cedar Park-Leander:

1. St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is shutting down its Cedar Park emergency facility, located at 14016 N. Hwy. 183, tomorrow, Jun. 24. Jeremy Barclay, chief executive officer of St. David's R.R. Medical Center, said that St. David's Emergency Center-Cedar Park resources will go to St. David's R.R. Medical Center, which is a Level II Trauma Center. St. David's said, "Cedar Park patients can use the Round Rock Medical Center, the Emergency Center in Leander, and the company's network of CareNow Urgent Care clinics." (KXAN)
2. We Are Blood had a public ribbon-cutting event yesterday, Jun. 22, for the new Cedar Park donor center, located at 251 North Bell Boulevard. Today, Jun. 23, is the clinic's official grand opening and first full day of appointments. More than 40 hospitals and doctors' offices in Central Texas rely on We Are Blood as the sole provider of blood. (KVUE)
