Suspects IDed In Cedar Park Vehicle Break-Ins
The case dates to early March when police were called to more than a dozen spots around the Buttercup area, officials said.
CEDAR PARK, TX — The Cedar Park Police Department has identified multiple juvenile suspects in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins, officials revealed on Thursday.
The incidets date to the evening of Monday, March 2, and into the early morning hours of Tuesday March 3, when Cedar Park police were called to more than a dozen different reports of vehicle break-ins in the Buttercup area, police said.
Items such as wallets, firearms, purses, electronics and more were taken during the break-ins, police said. Through multiple forms of surveillance video footage and detective follow-up, police said, a search warrant was executed where many of the stolen items were recovered. In addition, other agencies were able to clear their cases with the recovery of this stolen property, local police added.

Specific criminal charges are pending, officials said.
"We want to thank the neighbors and community for providing essential video footage that assisted us in this case," the Cedar Park Police Department said in a prepared statement. "Please remember to take, lock and hide. It is imperative that you do not leave items inside your vehicle, even if you feel the area is safe."
