Here are the top three stories in Cedar Park-Leander today:
- On Jun. 18, Hays County deputies arrested a third suspect, 17-year-old Devin Vasquez-Pachecho, in the Jun. 12 homicide of 16-year-old Adrian Murillo Curiel of Cedar Park. The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said that Vasquez-Pachecho faces a murder charge. Stephen Sanchez, 19, and Xelso Mora-Vazquez, 20, are the other two defendants in the case. They also face murder charges and are currently in Williamson County Jail. (KXAN)
- A group of University of Texas bicyclists are currently on the longest annual charity bicycle ride in the world. The "LIVESTRONG Texas 4000" team's goal is to raise awareness in the fight for cancer. The team departed from Cedar Park earlier this month and as of Jun. 19, they were at Little Rock, Arkansas. Their 70-day journey will end in Anchorage, Alaska. (THV 11)
