Traffic Alert: Wreck Blocks Key Cedar Park Intersection
Crash at 183A and East Whitestone Boulevard has blocked all westbound traffic as police urge drivers to avoid the area until it's cleared.
UPDATE: Just before noon on Thursday, police advised motorists the roadway affected by a vehicle collision has been cleared. Traffic is now moving normally, police said.

CEDAR PARK, TX — A Cedar Park traffic collision has blocked a key intersection Thursday morning, officials said.

The crash occurred at toll road 183A and East Whitestone Boulevard, police alerted residents via Twitter just before 10:30 a.m. As a result of the collision, all westbound traffic on Whitestone Boulevard has been shut down.
Police asked motorists to avoid the area, suggesting alternative routes to reach their destinations should be plotted out: "Please avoid the area as we work the clear it," police wrote.

It's unclear if any injuries resulted from the wreck. Patch will update as more details are shared.
