  1. Check out these events that will be in Leander-Cedar Park and nearby: Leander's first boutique hop circulating around several different local businesses, Comic Con at the Cedar Park H-E-B Center, "Leander's annual Liberty Fest at Devine Lake Park," and donating at a blood drive event in Leander. Community Impact Newspaper has more July events in nearby Liberty Hill also.
  2. The Leander's Northline center loses its anchor tenant, The Hub. The developer said that this is a setback for the $1 billion community however, there are still many positives, including nearly completed townhomes, and solidified plans for office spaces. There will eventually be 1.9 million square feet of office space, 225,000 square feet of retail space, 175,000 square feet of hotel space, and more details that can be found at The Business Journals.
  3. Two new pediatric hospitals will give parents options to take their children. "The Dell Children’s Medical Center North Campus opened in April, and the new Texas Children’s hospital is set to open February 2024." A major aspect of deciding on expanding to offer health care options for children, is because there were many children being seen by providers in Houston, coming from the Austin area.
