Webinar Offers Expert Tips, Advice On Composting For Gardens
Composting 101 is an hour-long webinar on best practices for creating nutrient compost with expert insight for all levels of gardeners.
CEDAR PARK, TX — Whether you're an avid gardener, or you're just discovering your green thumb, gardening always presents opportunities to learn or improve skills to create enviable gardens to enjoy all summer long. The Austin Parks and Recreation Community Gardens Program invite Austin-area communities to a webinar to learn everything you need to know to begin composting in your community garden or home garden.
Composting 101: Austin Community Gardens Program Webinar is a free virtual event on Friday, August 31 from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. exploring best practices for creating nutrient compost. Meredith Gauthier, Recycling Program Manager with the Parks and Recreation Department, will lead the hour-long workshop offering insight on zero waste practices for gardeners. The online event promises to offer great advice and tips on ways to get your gardens blooming, and will feature information for all levels of experience.
