WilCo Couple Among Those Killed In California Boat Fire

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — A couple formerly from Williamson County were among those who perished in a boat fire off the California coast this week, according to a published report.

Andrew Fritz and his wife, Adrian Dahood-Fritz, each 40 years old, had looked forward to going on a scuba diving trip led by a marine biologist, a friend told the Austin American-Statesman. Instead, the couple formerly from Taylor, Texas, were among the casualties of the boat fire that claimed at least 34 lives.

The Statesman noted the couple were renowned for their photography skills and volunteerism effort working with animals. The two launched a photography business in Pflugerville called AzulOx Visuals four years ago, according to the report.
