• Colleyville Citizens' Police Academy (localnewsonly.com) — Colleyville residents and business owners can now apply for the free 16‑week Citizens’ Police Academy starting January 22, 2026 at the Colleyville Justice Center. Weekly Thursday evening classes offer hands-on experiences with traffic stops, investigations, and tactical units, and graduates can join the CPA Alumni Association or serve as Citizens on Patrol. Applications are due by January 9, 2026, or until the class fills.
   

• U.S. Women's Water Polo Celebrates 25 Years of Olympic Inclusion (Plus: Where Are They Now?)
