2 Children, Grandmother Killed In Conroe House Fire
A massive fire claimed the lives of a 1-yea-old child, a 7-year-old child, and their 93-year-old grandmother.

CONROE, TX — A massive fire claimed the lives of two children and their grandmother that erupted early Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the 16000 block of Long Valley Court at about 2:30 a.m.
Fire investigators said there were seven people inside the home when the fire started, and two of the children, ages 5, and 8-years-old, escaped from the home before firefighters arrived.

Firefighters rescued the children's mother, and she was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

The children's father tried to rescue his 1-year-old child and suffered cuts and severe burns, and is also in critical condition at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Firefighter were able to get the 1-year-old child out of the fire alive, but the child died later at Texas Children's Hospital.
The 7-year-old child was taken from the burning home, but died at the scene, as did his grandmother.
Arson investigators with the Montgomery County Fire Marshals Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
