Another Victim Accuses Ex-Priest Of Sexual Abuse
Father Manuel La Rosa-Lopez, who was assigned to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, is facing a third allegation of sexual abuse.

CONROE, TX — Another alleged victim of a priest accused of sexually abusing children at a Conroe Parish in the 1990s and early 2000s has come forward, officials said. A man who served as an altar boy at Conroe’s Sacred Heart Catholic church in the 1990s came forward on Thursday and accused Manuel La Rosa-Lopez of sexual abuse.
La Rosa-Lopez, 60, who is assigned to the St. John Fisher Catholic Church in Richmond, was initially accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl in the late 1990s, and a 17-year-old boy in the early 2000s while he was assigned to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
La Rosa-Lopez turned himself in at the Montgomery County Jail on Sept. 11. He was released on a $100,000 bond two days later.

The latest victim, who has not been identified, spoke through an attorney and alleged La Rosa-Lopez subjected the altar boy to several acts of abuse while he was a seminary student.
The incidents were reported to the church, according to the man’s attorney, but no action was taken and La Rosa-Lopez was eventually ordained into the priesthood.
