• Conroe tattoo studio, nonprofit fight fentanyl deaths with free Narcan and training event (houstonchronicle.com) — A Conroe tattoo studio is partnering with Montgomery County Operation Prevention Endeavor to give away free Narcan and overdose-response training this Sunday at Monster Ink on FM 1488. Residents can pick up doses, learn how to use them, and connect with harm-reduction resources as fentanyl-related overdoses continue to impact local families. The nonprofit M-COPE now distributes Narcan countywide through grants and community events. 
• Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity begins work on Magnolia's Marble Creek community (houstonchronicle.com) — Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is expanding affordable housing with its new Marble Creek community in Magnolia while continuing to build out the Cedar Creek neighborhood in Conroe. County leaders praised the quality of the Cedar Creek work, which already includes more than 120 homes. An anonymous donor has also pledged major multi-year support to help more local families become homeowners.
