Conroe Encourages Community To Take Part In National Night Out

Communities all over the US will celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday

CONROE, TX — It's a night where residents in every community are encouraged to step out of their homes, meet their neighbors and join with police and first responders. Communities all over the U.S. will take party in the 35th annual National Night Out.

In Conroe, residents and community members are invited to attend the National Night Out at the Conroe Target on Tuesday, Oct. 2 from 5pm to 8pm. Conroe Police Officers and Firefighters will be on hand to encourage neighborhood spirit within our community, heighten crime and drug prevention and generate support for local anti-crime groups.

The event will have festivities for children such as a climbing wall, trackless train, and opportunities to participate in various activity booths. Additionally, hot dogs, chips and soft drinks will be served.

This is an opportunity for community members not only to meet local police officers and firefighters, but also to meet neighbors and local business owners.
