Police Investigate Double Shooting In Conroe Neighborhood
Anthony and Ivonne Janczak were found shot to death inside their home Saturday evening, police said.

CONROE, TX — A call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office by concerned family members led to the gruesome discovery of their bodies. Deputies were called at about 6 p.m. Saturday to a home on Wind River Drive in the Lake Creek Forest Subdivision for a welfare check.
Before deputies arrived, family members were able to get into the home where they found 47-year-old Anthony Janczak, and 57-year-old Ivonne Janczak dead, according to investigators.
The couple had been shot to death, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. Police did not find any evidence of a forced entry into the home and believe this may be a murder-suicide, according to the Montgomery County Police Reporter.
