Police Investigating Apparent Murder-Suicide In Conroe
A domestic disturbance turned deadly when a man shot two women before committing suicide in the street, police said.

CONROE, TX — A 35-year-old man is believed to have shot and killed himself after investigators said he shot and wounded his ex-girlfriend, and killed her 29-year-old friend during an argument. Homicide investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in the 1200 block of Winchester Drive at about 11:45 p.m. Thursday for a shooting.
When they arrived, deputies found a man and two woman lying in the street with gunshot wounds. Daniel Outlaw and Jennifer Lee, the best friend of Outlaw’s ex-girlfriend, were both pronounced dead.
Outlaw’s ex-girlfriend was critically wounded. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in The Woodlands where she underwent surgery. Police have not released her identity.

According to a press release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Outlaw and the two women were arguing when Outlaw pulled a gun and fired several shots at the women, and then shot himself.
The deadly shooting is under investigation.
