Riley Holds Off Parker In Re-Election Bid, Clark Loses To Metts

Republican incumbent Charlie Riley held on to win a new term on Commissioners Court, while Jim Clark lost his re-election bid,

CONROE, TX — It's official.

With all the precincts reporting in Montgomery County, the Precinct 2 race, Republican incumbent Charlie Riley held on to win a new term on the commissioners court taking 55 percent of the ballots to former Comal County Commissioner Greg Parker's 44 percent.

In the Precinct 4 race, Republican incumbent Jim Clark lost his re-election bid, falling to challenger James Metts in a narrow victory.

The winners in those races will not face a challenger in November.
