Semi Truck Crash Scatters Drugs, Syringes Onto Highway 105
Drugs and syringes were ejected onto State Highway 105 after an oilfield truck rear-ended a semi carrying pharmaceuticals Friday morning.

CUT AND SHOOT, TEXAS — A big rig hauling oil field equipment rear-ended a semi-truck hauling prescription drugs and syringes, and scattered the drugs all over the roadway. The massive fender bender happened on State Highway 105 just after midnight on Friday.
Officials said no one was hurt, but the truck hauling the pharmaceutical supplies was pretty badly damaged.
The crash shut down a small section of State Highway 105 for several hours while police worked to gather up syringes and drugs off nearly 100 yards of roadway.

Officials said the drugs and supplies were returned to the distributor. Charges were not filed in this accident.
The roadway reopened just after 7 a.m.
