Who Is She? Panicked Woman Seen Ringing Doorbells Disappears
Police are looking for a woman seen on video roaming the Sunrise Ranch Subdivision at 3:30 a.m. Friday frantically ringing doorbells.
MONTGOMERY, TX -- Police are looking for a mystery woman recorded on home surveillance video early Friday morning who appeared to be panicked as she incessantly rang doorbells in the Sunrise Ranch Subdivision. The woman, who disappeared before police arrived, was seen on surveillance systems and appeared to be barefoot and wearing only a T-shirt as she went from house to house, police said.
The series of mysterious incidents began about 3:30 a.m. with people in the neighborhood reporting someone ringing their doorbells 20 times or more, officials said. Residents in the area said when they went to answer the door, the young woman seen in the video was gone, according to police.
Lt. Scott Spencer, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, said for now the incident is being investigated as a suspicious person. According to a press release, the department is trying to determine if the woman matches the description of anyone reported missing in the Houston area and have received flyers indicating she could be a missing person.
