• Postal Service ramps up for holiday rush as officials urge customers to ship early (wfaa.com) — Holiday mail for North Texas is surging through Coppell’s massive USPS distribution center, which just added a high-speed package sorter to handle up to 88 million parcels this season. Postal leaders urge residents to mail cards and small packages by Dec. 17, use Priority Mail by Dec. 18, or Priority Mail Express starting Dec. 20 to ensure Christmas delivery.
   

• AP All-Big Ten: Indiana's Cignetti repeats as coach of year; Hoosiers and Buckeyes dominate 1st team (audacy.com) — A Coppell-raised kicker, Indiana’s Nico Radicic, earned first-team All-Big Ten honors as the Hoosiers and Ohio State dominated this year’s Associated Press conference awards. Indiana’s Curt Cignetti repeated as coach of the year, quarterback Fernando Mendoza swept two major offensive awards, and Buckeyes stars Caleb Downs and Julian Sayin also headlined the league’s top performers.
