Xplor Campers Deliver 500 Donations to Cook Children’s Medical Center

Campers held a donation drive to benefit children being treated at the hospital

Summer campers at Xplor Preschool & School Age Care at Sendera Ranch in Haslet recently delivered more than 500 items to Cook Children’s Medical Center, a nonprofit pediatric hospital located in Fort Worth. Over the summer months, campers collected bubbles, board games, coloring books, crayons, toys, and more for children being treated at the hospital.

Xplor Preschool & School Age Care instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond, working with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
