Xplor® Campers Donate Personal Care Items to Ronald McDonald House®
Campers collected toilet paper and toothpaste for the organization, which supports seriously ill and traumatically injured children
Summer campers at Xplor Preschool & School Age Care in Corinth recently donated more than 350 rolls of toilet paper and 100 boxes of toothpaste to Ronald McDonald House of Dallas, which, offers a supportive home-like community that eases burdens, lessens stress, and enhances the quality of life for seriously ill children and their families in Texas. Following the collection, campers delivered the items to Ronald McDonald House and learned about how their donations will help others.
Xplor Preschool & School Age Care instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Its signature Links to Learning preschool curriculum emphasizes social-emotional learning as a stepping stone for kindergarten and beyond, working with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
