Xplor® Students Donate More Than 300 Toys to Local Children in Need

Students held a donation drive in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots program

Students at Xplor Preschool & School Age Care at Sendera Ranch in Haslet recently collected more than 300 toys and 16 bicycles to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Over the past month, students worked together to collect the items, and at the close of the drive, a representative from the organization stopped by the school to pick up the donations. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in the community, especially during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
