  1. The Coastal Bend PRIDE Center in Corpus Christi, Texas, is hosting the 2023 LGBTQIA+ Youth Prom on Jun. 3. The event aims to provide a safe and supportive space for LGBTQIA+ teens to enjoy a night of dancing and fun. The theme for this year's prom is "Night Under the Sea," encouraging attendees to wear ocean or water-themed costumes. Tickets are available for $10 each, and the event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Jun. 3. The Coastal Bend PRIDE Center is the only LGBTQIA+ community center in the area and strives to create an inclusive and compassionate environment for the local LGBTQIA+ population. (KIIITV.com)
  2. Water Street Village, a former housing law firm in Corpus Christi has been demolished to make space for a new parking lot. The site, which was later converted into a popular shopping center in the 70s, has now been torn down.   3. The Corpus Christi Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery. The incident occurred on May 1, 2023, at the 2400 block of Mansheim Blvd, where an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
